Overview
This FAQ shows you how to ensure your transaction amounts are in your store currency in Shopify. This article relates to Shopify only, where the store currency is different to the marketplace currency.
Setting your order currency to your store currency in Shopify
If the marketplace currency is different to your store currency you can force Catchfeeder to change the transaction amount to your store currency rather than the currency of the marketplace.
For example: Your Shopify store currency is USD and the marketplace currency is AUD. We send the order back in this format.
Transaction currency = AUD
Total Order currency = USD
If Shopify does not respect the transaction currency , you can force Catchfeeder to pass it back to Shopify in the same currency as your store
Transaction currency = USD
Total Order currency = USD
To do this, login into Catchfeeder- > Settings - > Shopify Feed- > General - >Order Export and tick the box
Send transaction amount in store currency
Then click the update button.
All orders pushed to Shopify from this point onward will have the currency match that of the Shopify store.
